You have switched the help window on or off. A tick appears when the help window is switched on.

Voice training
Using voice training, you can fine tune Linguatronic* to your own voice and thus improve voice recognition. The ability of the system to recognise the commands of other users does not deteriorate as a result.
Voice training comprises two parts. You train the system to recognise digits in the first part and specific commands in the second part.
Starting new voice training

It is only possible to start voice training with the vehicle stationary. After starting the session, the system guides you through the training with spoken instructions.

Select Vehicle System settings Linguatronic Start new individualisation.
|

A prompt appears asking whether you would like further information.
|

Select Yes or No.
|

If you select No, the first part of the voice training begins.
If you select Yes, a message will be shown.
|
|
To close the list: select OK.
|

The first part of voice training begins.
At the end of the first part, you will see a prompt asking whether you wish to begin the second part.
|

Select Yes or No.
|

If you select No, the voice training will be cancelled. The data from the first part is stored automatically.
If you select Yes, the second part will begin.
|
Voice training is completed at the end of the second part. You will see a message to this effect. The data from the second part is stored automatically.
Cancelling the first or second part of voice training

Select Cancel.
|

A prompt appears asking whether you really do wish to cancel.
|

Select Yes or No.
|

If you select Yes, the voice training will be cancelled. The data from the part during which you exited is not stored.
If you select No, the part during which you stopped begins again.

Deleting existing voice training data
|
Select Vehicle System settings Linguatronic Delete individualisation.

A prompt appears asking whether you really do wish to delete.
|

Select Yes or No.
|

The voice training data will either be deleted or not, depending on your selection.

Assigning the programmable button (favourites)

You can assign the following predefined functions to the button:

Rear window blind*: you can use the programmable button to extend or retract the rear window blind.

Display off: you can use the programmable button to switch the COMAND display on or off.

Tow-away protection*: you can use the programmable button to prime or deactivate tow-away protection*.

Interior motion sensor*: you can use the programmable button to prime or deactivate the interior motion sensor*.
-
Tow-away protection/interior motion sensor*: you can use the programmable button to prime or deactivate the tow-away protection and interior motion sensor*.

Repeat navigation command*: you can use the programmable button to repeat the last recommendation of the navigation system*.
Reset

You can reset COMAND back to its factory settings. Amongst other things, this will delete all personal data (e.g. address book entries, entries in the destination memory* and in the list of previous destinations in the navigation system*).

If you select Yes, a prompt will appear again asking whether you really wish to reset.
