Replacing the wiper blades

The windscreen will not longer be properly wiped if the wiper blades are worn. This could prevent you from observing the traffic conditions, thereby causing an accident. Replace the wiper blades twice a year, ideally in spring and autumn.

The wiper arms could start moving and cause an injury if you leave the windscreen wipers switched on.
Remove the key from the ignition lock before replacing the wiper blades.

Make sure that you touch only the wiper arm of the windscreen wiper to avoid damaging the windscreen wiper blades.

Removing

It is easier to change the wiper blade if you leave the wiper arm on the windscreen.

|
Remove the key from the ignition lock.
|
|
Pull the retaining clip to the stop in the direction of arrow .
|
|
Lift the wiper arm slightly and remove the wiper blade.
|
|
Carefully place the wiper arm back on the windscreen.

Fitting
|
Lift the wiper arm slightly and insert the new wiper blade into the recess on the wiper arm. The square engaging notch must be at the top.

Carefully place the wiper arm back on the windscreen.
|
|
Push back the retaining clip in the direction of arrow until you feel it engage.
