Checking the coolant level
Slowly turn the cap anti-clockwise by about one half turn and allow the excess pressure to escape. Continue turning the cap anti-clockwise and remove it. There is sufficient coolant in expansion tank 1 if the coolant reaches the mark in the expansion tank filler neck when cold, or if it reaches approximately 1.5 cm above the mark in the expansion tank filler when warm.
