Opening/closing the side windows

Make sure that nobody can become trapped between the side window and the door frame as a side window is opened. Do not touch or lean against the side window during the opening procedure. You could become trapped between the side window and the door frame as the window moves down. If danger threatens, release the switch or pull the switch upwards to close the side window again.

Switches on the driver's door

Make sure that the key is in position 2 in the ignition lock.

When the key is turned to position 0 or removed from the ignition lock, it is still possible to operate the windows until the driver's or front-passenger door is opened, but for no longer than five minutes.

Opening/closing the front side windows

The front and rear side windows open simultaneously if the roof is open.

To open or close: press the switch down or pull it up beyond the pressure point and hold it until the corresponding window is in the desired position.

To open or close fully: press the switch down or pull it up beyond the pressure point and release it.

To stop: briefly press the switch down or pull it up.

If the window is obstructed during closing, the closing procedure is interrupted and it opens again slightly.

If the window on the driver's side is obstructed during closing, you can press the switch again within five seconds.

If a window on the driver's side has been blocked, it is afterwards closed without the anti-entrapment feature. You could therefore trap and injure yourself and others. Make sure that nobody can become trapped as you close the side window.

Opening the rear side windows
You can only open and close the rear side windows fully.

When the roof is open: open the front window.

The front and rear side windows open simultaneously.

When the roof is closed: press the respective switch for the front window again.

To stop the side window: briefly pull up or press down the respective switch.

Close the front windows.

Resetting the windows
Each side window must be reset if the battery was disconnected or discharged.

Make sure that the key is in position 2 in the ignition lock.

Pull the switch upwards until the window is closed, and hold it in this position for another second.
