Checking the engine oil level with the oil dipstick (SLK 350)
Pull out oil dipstick 1 and wipe it clean. Reinsert it into the dipstick tube to the stop and then pull it out again.
The oil level is correct if it is between bottom mark 3 and top mark 2. If necessary, top up the engine oil.
