It is reassuring to know that Mercedes-Benz Vans are designed and built to be as robust and safe as possible in the event of an accident. A highly durable support structure and a highly rigid passenger compartment form the basis of our safety bodies. This combination of strength and stiffness was optimised in the construction phase to provide maximum all-round crash safety. The front section of the van bodies consists of deformation boxes that are welded to the longitudinal support beams. In the case of a frontal collision, maximum energy is thereby absorbed. This means greater protection for not only the driver, but all involved.
