Safely anchored
Indirect restraint is achieved using tie-downs, which press the load more firmly onto the loading surface to increase friction. These friction forces then restrain the load. The amount of securing required can be significantly reduced by placing friction mats underneath the load. Please note that:

wherever possible, direct restraint should be given preference over indirect restraint,

a sufficient number of tie-downs should be used,

the tie-downs should be adequately tensioned,

the load limit of the anchor points should not be exceeded.
