Rev counter
The rev counter
shows the engine speed. The scale is divided into 3 engine speed ranges.

Observe the rev counter while driving and keep it within
economical engine speed range
.
When driving downhill, make sure that the engine speed does not
enter red danger zone .
Idle speed is
regulated automatically as a function of coolant temperature.

The warning buzzer will sound if the maximum engine speed limit is exceeded.
The engine will become quieter if the maximum permissible engine speed is exceeded. For this reason, you should not drive and change gear by the sound of the engine, but according to the engine speed shown by the rev. counter.
Avoid driving in the red or red hatched overrevving range. Otherwise, you could damage the engine.

Economical
engine speed range
Operating the vehicle in economical engine speed range
reduces fuel
consumption and wear.
In some situations, it may make sense to operate the engine
outside economical engine speed range
, e.g. on uphill
gradients or when overtaking.
Ecometer
(on-board computer Plus only)
Depending on the
engine load, one or more segments of ecometer
light up. The
segments that light up indicate the engine speed range with the lowest fuel
consumption.

the tanks, stop the engine and deactivate the auxiliary
heating.

AdBlue
gauge
The
AdBlue gauge only provides a general indication of the AdBlue level. The AdBlue
level is indicated by 4 blue segments in the gauge.

Fuel
gauge
If the
fuel level drops to approx. 14 % of the tank capacity,
appears on the
display. At the same time, the segments in the status indicator light up
yellow.
Outside temperature/coolant temperature
The on-board computer Standard display and the display in the rev counter (on-board computer Plus only) can show either the outside temperature or the coolant temperature.
Every time the vehicle key is turned to the radio position in the ignition lock, the display switches back to the outside temperature.
Depending on the country of delivery, the temperature display is set to Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) when the vehicle leaves the factory.
In vehicles with the on-board computer Plus, the unit of measurement can be changed in the Settings menu more.
In vehicles with the on-board computer Standard, the unit of measurement can be changed at any Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.

The road surface may be icy, especially in wooded areas or on bridges, even if temperatures are just above freezing point. The vehicle could skid if you fail to adapt your driving style. You should therefore always adapt your driving style and speed to suit the weather conditions.

In case of a coolant temperature warning, the coolant temperature is automatically displayed.
When the coolant temperature warning disappears, the outside temperature appears again (if it was previously active).

Press the TRIP button for approx. 2 seconds.

Brake circuit supply pressure

|
A leaking compressed-air brake system jeopardises the operating and road safety of the vehicle. If the supply pressure in the compressed air braking system is too low, it is not possible to brake the vehicle and shift gears. You could cause an accident, thereby endangering yourself and others.
Do not pull away until the required supply pressures have been reached and the STOP lamp has gone out.
Do not start driving or stop as quickly as traffic conditions allow if  appears in the display. Do not pull away, or if the vehicle is already in motion, stop as soon as possible, paying attention to road and traffic conditions. In addition, the status indicator lights up red and the STOP lamp remains lit.
Have the brake system checked and repaired at a qualified specialist workshop which has the necessary specialist knowledge and tools to carry out the work required.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for this purpose. All work relevant to safety or on safety-related systems must be carried out at a qualified specialist workshop.

Sufficient supply
pressure in the individual compressed-air circuits of the brake system (min. 10
bar) is required to ensure the operational safety of the vehicle. The auxiliary
consumer circuit is only filled after brake circuits 1 and 2 have been
filled.
A brake
circuit with low supply pressure is automatically displayed by indicator lamp
