Vehicle tool kit, TIREFIT kit, jack, first-aid kit, warning triangle and folding wheel chock

The vehicle tool kit, TIREFIT kit, jack, first-aid kit, warning triangle and folding wheel chock are located in the left-hand stowage compartment in the luggage compartment.

When using the jack, you should also observe the safety notes in the "Flat tyre" section more.

First-aid kit

Check the expiry date on the first-aid kit regularly, and replace the contents if necessary.

Removing the first-aid kit

  

Open the left-hand storage compartment in the luggage compartment more.

  

Remove the retaining cross.

  

Remove first-aid kit .

 

Warning triangle

  

Open the left-hand storage compartment in the luggage compartment more.

  

Release the Velcro fastening.

  

Remove warning triangle .

Setting up the warning triangle

  

Fold feet down and out to the side.

  

Pull side reflectors  up to form a triangle and lock them at the top using press-stud .

 

Setting up the collapsible wheel chock

  

Fold both plates upwards.

  

Fold out lower plate .

  

Guide the lugs on the lower plate fully into openings in base plate .

 

Fire extinguisher*

Have the fire extinguisher refilled after each use and checked every one or two years. Otherwise, it may fail in an emergency.

Observe the legal requirements in all countries concerned.

The fire extinguisher is located underneath the front of the driver's seat.

  

Pull tab upwards.

  

Remove fire extinguisher .

 

Spare wheel*/"Minispare" emergency spare wheel*

  

Open the luggage compartment floor more.

  

Vehicles with ECO start/stop function: remove ball coupling stowage well and ball coupling .

  

Turn retaining screw  anti-clockwise.

Vehicles with a subwoofer mounted in the emergency spare wheel:

You must observe the information labels on the subwoofer when removing it.

  

Remove spare wheel/"Minispare" emergency spare wheel .
