Where will I find...?

Warning triangle

  

Turn lever 90° in the direction of the arrow.

  

Remove warning triangle .

Setting up the warning triangle

  

Fold feet down and out to the side.

  

Pull side reflectors  up to form a triangle and lock them at the top using press-stud .

First-aid kit

Check the expiry date of the first-aid kit annually, and replace the contents when necessary.

  

Release Velcro fastener .

  

Remove first-aid kit from the luggage net.

Fire extinguisher*

Have the fire extinguisher refilled after each use and checked every one or two years. Otherwise, it may fail in an emergency.

Observe the legal requirements in all countries concerned.

  

Pull handle upwards.

  

Pull cover forwards in the direction of the arrow.

  

Remove the fire extinguisher from the stowage compartment.

Vehicle tool kit, "Minispare" emergency spare wheel*, spare wheel*

The vehicle tool kit, spare wheel, etc. are located in the stowage well under the boot floor.

The vehicle tool kit contains:

  • TIREFIT kit

  • electric air pump

  • towing eye

  • spare fuses

Vehicles with a "Minispare" emergency spare wheel*/spare wheel* have additional wheel changing tools, consisting of:

  • folding wheel chock

  • jack

  • centring pin

  • wheel wrench

  • one pair of gloves

Risk of injury

The jack is designed only to raise and hold the vehicle for a short time while a wheel is being changed.

You must use stands if you are carrying out work on the vehicle.

Make sure that the jack is placed on a firm, non-slip, level surface. Do not use wooden blocks or similar objects as a jack underlay. Otherwise, the jack will not be able to achieve its load-bearing capacity due to the restricted height.

Do not start the engine at any time while a wheel is being changed.

When using the jack, you should also observe the safety notes in the "Flat tyre" section more.

  

Fold up the front part of the boot floor.

For vehicles with a TIREFIT kit, you can also purchase a tyre changing tool kit*more.

Turn fastening element  anti-clockwise.

  

Remove "Minispare" emergency spare wheel .
